Feasibility Studies

Early proof-of-concept and feasibility studies of single pulse TMS for migraine treatment were conducted at McMaster University, Ohio State and Borgess Research Institute. The hypotheses presumed TMS could potentially disrupt the abnormal brain activity associated with migraine and cortical spreading depression associated with migraine aura. Promising results from all three centers led to the company’s decision to pursue a randomized controlled trial of migraine with aura .
